To an appropriate extent, we may also obtain information from the person or organisation you represent, from a business partner, from public registers or from publicly available professional sources.<\/p>\n\n<h2>8. Is providing personal data mandatory?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Providing personal data is voluntary unless it is required by law or necessary for entering into and performing a contract.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you do not provide information required to respond to an enquiry, prepare a quotation, enter into a contract or deliver a service, we may be unable to process your request.<\/p>\n\n<p>Consent to newsletters, analytical or marketing cookies, or publication of a testimonial or photograph is voluntary. Processors may process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and must ensure an appropriate level of protection.<\/p>\n\n<h2>10. Social media<\/h2>\n\n<p>LEDCO operates company profiles primarily on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. When you visit these profiles or interact with their content, the relevant social media provider also processes personal data under its own privacy terms.<\/p>\n\n<p>Depending on the particular function, we and the social media provider may act as separate or joint controllers, for example when generating aggregated statistics about visits to and use of a company profile.<\/p>\n\n<p>We do not have complete control over the personal data collected by a social media provider, how it combines such data with other information or how long it retains it. We therefore recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the relevant platform.<\/p>\n\n<h2>11. Transfers of personal data to third countries<\/h2>\n\n<p>Some providers of technical, analytics, marketing, cloud or social media services may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States of America.<\/p>\n\n<p>Where personal data is transferred to a third country, the transfer is carried out only where the requirements of the GDPR are met, in particular on the basis of:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission,<\/li>\n  <li>the recipient\u2019s certification under the EU\u2013US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable,<\/li>\n  <li>standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission,<\/li>\n  <li>or another lawful transfer mechanism accompanied by appropriate supplementary safeguards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Information about the specific transfer mechanism will be provided upon request to the extent that it relates to the processing of your personal data.<\/p>\n\n<h2>12. Automated decision-making and profiling<\/h2>\n\n<p>We do not carry out automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you have consented to analytics or marketing technologies, their providers may evaluate your activity and interests for measurement or advertising personalisation purposes. You may restrict or stop such processing by withdrawing consent for the relevant category of cookies.<\/p>\n\n<h2>14. Your rights<\/h2>\n\n<p>Subject to the conditions laid down in the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:<\/p>\n\n<h3>Right of access<\/h3>\n<p>You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and, where we do, to obtain access to the data and information about its processing. You also have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data being processed.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Right to rectification<\/h3>\n<p>You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete data.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Right to erasure<\/h3>\n<p>You have the right to request the erasure of personal data, particularly where the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, where you have withdrawn consent or where the data has been processed unlawfully. Where we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request additional information necessary to verify it.<\/p>\n\n<p>We will respond without undue delay and no later than one month after receiving your request. Taking into account the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by a further two months. We will inform you of any extension and the reasons for it within the original one-month period.<\/p>\n\n<p>Requests are handled free of charge.
