When planning lighting for a family home, it is easy to end up tackling one room at a time. One luminaire for the living room, another above the dining table, technical lighting for the hallway and something suitable outdoors.

Individually, each solution may work well. What matters is that together they form one coherent concept.

Paulína therefore came to LEDCO to choose complete interior and exterior lighting for her home.

The selection was not only about how the individual luminaires looked, but also about how they would work in each space and visually complement one another.

Every home is different. Its architecture, layout, materials and the way its occupants use the space are all unique.

That is why there is no single universal lighting solution that works equally well everywhere.

During her visit to the showroom, Paulína particularly appreciated the personal approach and the opportunity to tailor the lighting to her own ideas, the specific space and her needs.

As she puts it:

“Every solution is literally tailored to your ideas, your space and your needs.”

This approach makes it possible to treat lighting as an integral part of the home rather than the last item on the furnishing checklist.

A family home can require many different types of lighting.

A decorative luminaire can become a focal point in a living room or dining room. Technical lighting, by contrast, needs to provide enough quality light where it is needed. A bathroom, hallway, bedroom and workspace each have different requirements, while exterior lighting is a category of its own.

For Paulína, it was therefore important to be able to choose all of these solutions in one place.

At the LEDCO showroom, she could explore different options – from decorative luminaires to technical and exterior lighting – and consider them as part of one project.

When lighting an entire home, choosing the products is only one part of the decision.

It is just as important to have a partner with whom the different options can be discussed and who can take both the customer’s vision and the space itself into account.

Paulína summed up her reasons simply:

“For us, it is mainly about professionalism, a personal approach and quality. Exactly what we were looking for when choosing the lighting for our home.”

With a larger project, personal advice can make the difference between choosing a few attractive luminaires and creating lighting that works as a carefully considered whole.

This story does not end with a visit to the showroom.

Paulína chose lighting for both the interior and exterior of her home, and she will show the specific luminaires in the next instalment of the LEDCO in Your Home.

This time, we were there for the selection process.

Next time, we will show you the result.

When planning a family home, you do not have to choose every luminaire separately and simply hope it all works together.

At LEDCO, we help you look at lighting as a complete system, select suitable luminaires for each space and find a solution that works both technically and visually.

Not individual luminaires, but lighting for the whole home When planning lighting for a family home, it is easy to end up tackling one room at a time.
