Exterior Lighting for Zemiansky dvor Guesthouse

Our task in this project was to design the exterior lighting for Zemiansky dvor guesthouse, whose history dates back to 1952, when the building served as a former JRD agricultural cooperative. The owners were open to new possibilities and decided to give the building a new identity. Our work forms a small part of this major transformation. Because the building carries a strong sense of history, the lighting had to respect and highlight its valuable features, above all the tower that forms the dominant architectural element.

Luminaires used

Exterior lighting for a guesthouse requires careful preparation and the right choice of luminaires. We selected products from internationally recognised brands including iGuzzini, DEKO, FLOS, SLV and LEDS C4. We combined several luminaire types so that each could perform its role as effectively as possible. Spotlights were used in particular to illuminate selected parts of the building and shape the overall atmosphere. Beyond the building itself, we also designed lighting for the landscaping, especially the trees running along the property. The project also includes lighting for the statue of St Isidore, patron saint of farmers, which welcomes visitors at the entrance to the grounds.

Zemiansky dvor guesthouse offers a family atmosphere, elegant architecture combined with historic elements and a comfortable standard of accommodation. Zemiansky dvor also includes the stylish Gazdovská izba venue, suitable for business meetings, training sessions, seminars, conferences, corporate events and family celebrations.
