Lighting that adapts to every moment
Miško and his family have been living in their new home for almost two years. His favourite part is the open-plan living area that connects the living room, kitchen and dining room. This is not only because it is where the family spends most of its time together. The space owes much of its distinctive character to the carefully designed lighting.
Several layers of light are combined throughout the interior. Functional lighting provides plenty of illumination for cooking, work and everyday activities. Decorative and indirect lighting comes to the fore mainly in the evening, making the entire space feel cosier and creating a completely different atmosphere.
As Miško himself says, the result sometimes feels like a welcoming hotel interior.

From an initial idea to a refined solution
From the very beginning, Miško had his own vision of how his home should look and feel. LEDCO helped him develop the concept, choose suitable types of luminaires and refine the individual details so that they would work together as a functional and visually cohesive whole.
For him, the collaboration was not only about purchasing luminaires. What he appreciated most was the expert advice, personal interest and individual approach throughout the selection process.
The final addition to the living area was a designer floor lamp. It gives the space a pleasing sense of completion, creates a cosy pool of light and enhances the atmosphere of Miško’s favourite place in the house.

Attention was not limited to the living room and kitchen. Another striking feature of the house is the spacious walk-in wardrobe, one of the rooms visitors admire most and would happily recreate in their own homes.
Lighting also plays an important role in the bathroom. Miško can use full, even illumination for his daily routine. When he wants to relax in the bath, watch a film or create a romantic mood, however, he can change the atmosphere of the entire room with a single click.
Miško’s home shows that well-designed lighting is more than a practical part of the interior. It can transform its character, highlight the architecture and adapt the space to the way it is being used at any given moment.
