Exterior Lighting for McDonald’s in Trnava
In this project, we focused on the design and implementation of exterior lighting for a McDonald's restaurant. Our goal was to support a modern yet welcoming design, ensuring the lighting was primarily functional while also enhancing the overall appearance of the building and its surroundings. McDonald's is a busy venue, so attention to every detail is important to provide customers with maximum comfort.

To highlight the effect of the slatted facade, we selected exterior LED lighting in the form of a colour-changing wallwasher luminaire. Its RGB colour variability is a major advantage, allowing us to work with different colours and improve the restaurant’s visibility. Another benefit is the very simple RGB control. For the back-of-house and office areas, we used industrial and office luminaires in the form of LED panels. For this type of lighting, we recommend brands such as Philips, Ledvance and Sylvania.
For effective exterior lighting of trees planted in a stone bed, we selected a LED NeonFlex strip by COLORS. In addition to the LED strip, we used the Naboo 534034 (3000K) in-ground luminaire by ARES to create attractive lighting for the landscaping and tree canopies. To preserve the architectural concept, we also incorporated Twilight Canberra designer luminaires by iGuzzini. They were installed as supplementary lighting for the exterior and car park.
