ALFA Nursery School Sereď – Lighting Design for a Children’s Environment
We designed the LED lighting for ALFA Nursery school in Sereď as a gentle, safe, and functional solution for everyday movement and play. The lighting concept naturally follows the architecture of the building and supports a calm, welcoming environment free from visual stress. The project was developed in collaboration with the architectural studio ROOKS and the construction company Hrachostav. LEDCO delivered the complete design and implementation of the interior LED lighting, including luminaire selection, technical solutions, and coordination with the architectural concept.

LEDCO designed the lighting solution for ALFA Nursery School as a simple, clear, and long-term sustainable system.
The goal of the design was to provide high-quality lighting for all areas without visual overload, with a strong focus on the everyday operation of the Nursery School.
The selected luminaires naturally integrate into the interior architecture and do not distract children’s attention. The lighting works with soft transitions, even distribution, and appropriate intensity for different activities throughout the day.
The solution also addresses the practical needs of the staff. Easy maintenance, reliability, and safe operation support the smooth functioning of a space with a high level of daily movement.

Creative Cables in the Interior of ALFA Nursery School
A distinctive element of the lighting design in ALFA Nursery School is the use of decorative luminaires from the Creative Cables system.

Project Collaboration
The ALFA Nursery School project was delivered through close collaboration between the architect, the construction contractor, and the individual project partners.
The lighting concept was developed in coordination with the architectural design to ensure that the lighting naturally followed the spatial layout and material concept of the building.
The architectural design was prepared by ROOKS s.r.o., while construction was carried out by Hrachostav. The project investor is ALFA Kindergarten.
The close coordination of all disciplines made it possible to create a lighting solution that is technically clean, visually calm, and fully respectful of a children’s environment.
